I'll overwhelm 'serious combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
